The Human Half
It is an inventory of what the human actually contributes.
Items
- Knowing what good looks like
- Intent
- The memory bank
- Breadth
- Leadership communication
- Prioritisation and attention
- Accountability
- A moral compass
- Curiosity, and the appetite to keep learning
The human ingredient of the four, itemised in the order the author found the items to matter. The point is that almost everything that decides whether the output is worth anything happens on the human side of the desk, mostly invisibly, before the brief and after the result. The first item, knowing what good looks like, is "the ability to tell a good result from a plausible one".
